Some lighter moments in the panel sessions at IR Magazine's un-missable Singapore Conference last month revealed an audience that was ready, perhaps even needing, to laugh.
And the question occurred to me: is there humour in Investor Relations?
I hope you won't mind if we try to bring you a smile as we prepare to launch our new service. There is a serious message here, too, about sustainability and intelligent deployment of new technology to limit our impact on the environment. We have been doing things in the same way for an awfully long time and the moment has come, we urge you, to move forward.
In the cameos that follow in the days between Western & Chinese New Year on 23rd January, you might just recognise some of your own thoughts and experiences.
We hope at least to brighten up the dark, post-Christmas days of January.
